Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos

The Narwal Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is among the most efficient combos I've tested. Its base station features large dustbin as well as a water tank. Its dual rubber brushes are less prone to hair tangles than single bristles.

Its mopping performance is excellent and its AI mapping is excellent at avoiding obstacles. It can also pause the cleaning process and then resume from where it was when it stopped.

1. Roomba Combo j9+

The Roomba Combo J9+ is an all-in-one robot mop and vacuum cleaner that is among the most advanced on the market. It features a sleek, self emptying Clean Base that can hold up to two mopping cycles. It is designed to look and feel like a small desk. It's also the only robotic mop we've tested with an onboard water reservoir that automatically cleans and refills the cleaning pads after each mopping and vacuum cycle.

The mopping arm rests quietly on top of the unit until it is able to detect hard floors, then lowers to begin scrubs. It is able to move slowly over surfaces to avoid spreading wet spills or mud over carpeted areas. And it does a great job of staying clear of cords, furniture, and other obstacles.

The iRobot Home App is smarter than other robot vacuums. It allows you to alter the settings of your cleaner, prioritize rooms based on dirtiness, schedule cleaning time, and much more. The app also provides detailed maps of your home, seasonal suggestions and custom cleaning routines and intuitive smart-home integrations.

This robot vac/mop uses iRobot’s Imprint Smart Mapping Technology to detect objects like sofas, tables and counters. It can be controlled by Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, making it easy to clean your home.

Contrary to other mopping and vacuum robots, the Roomba j9+ creates a complete map of your home 7x faster than previous models and also labels each space by floor type, ensuring that it will always remember to mop or vacuum the area you want. It also has an iRobot Turbo Mode which boosts suction for areas that are difficult to reach. And with iRobot's Dirt Detective software, it will identify your habits of cleaning and preferences, allowing it to automatically adjust your cleaning priorities and settings, such as mop scrubbing for the most soiled areas of your home.

2. Yeedi M12 Pro+

With its top-quality features and user-friendly controls for the app, the Yeedi M12 Pro+ is an impressive contender in the world of automated vacuum and mop robots. Its suction power is powerful and advanced mopping technology make it the perfect cleaner for smart homes. Its smart automation and affordable price make it an excellent choice for households that are on a tight budget.

To get started with the M12 device, simply download and open the Yeedi app and follow the instructions on screen to connect to your Wi-Fi network. Once connected the app will prompt you to create a unique name for your new robot. It's important to note that the M12 supports 2.4 GHz networks only.

The M12 has a variety of cleaning modes for vacuuming and mopping. Its intelligent design lets the M12 identify a space within six minutes and adjusts its cleaning path accordingly.  budget robot vacuum  mopping technology is advanced and includes two spinning pads that are electronically controlled water and a "True Edge Adaptive Edge Mopping System" which helps ensure thorough cleaning of all edges of the floor.

Navigationally, the M12 utilizes LiDAR and IR to avoid obstacles. Its sensors are good at detecting larger objects, like HVAC vents and furniture. They may struggle to find smaller objects such as cables or small rags. This could cause the robots to miss areas.

The M12's built-in inclinometer enables it to detect and navigate through stairs. It can also return automatically to its OMNI Station to clean and dry mop brushes and to refill its water tank. When the batteries run out the OMNI Station can even clean itself and empty the trash bin when its batteries are low.

3. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot cleaner is the cutting edge of robotic cleaning. It packs a variety of features into a compact package. It has the highest mopping capacity, a camera for enhanced obstacle avoidance and a powerful vacuum with the ability to detect when it's sweeping over carpets. It also has advanced intelligence and voice assistant features.

It's a powerful mop and vacuum cleaner. It completed our 1,500 square feet test area in just over 101 minutes, but the battery drained and it returned to its dock. Its mop is automatically cleaned between uses. This reduces costs for maintenance while keeping the pads clean. Additionally it has a dock sensor that senses when the mop pad is dirty and initiates a wash cycle to keep it clean.

The S8 MaxV Ultra, like its predecessors, features an intelligent system which can recognize household items such as pet waste and shoes using the combination of a camera and LIDAR. It was a great performer in our obstacle avoidance evaluation with just one minor glitch in my testing (it was stuck when unwinding a ball of wool that was wrapped around its brush arm).

The S8 MaxV Ultra has a new 10,000pa suction power, more than double its predecessor. This makes it a great choice for homes that have lots of carpeting and varying kinds of flooring. The vacuum can also be programmed to automatically increase suction when it's moving over dirt or crumbs.

Like previous models, multiple docking stations can be installed to make it easier to clean and mop process. It can also be connected to the plumbing of your home using a a specialized dock that drains and refills the water tank automatically when it's done.

4. Dreametech X40 Ultra

The Dreame X40 Ultra is the latest top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop from Dreame, and it offers several features that the company's more expensive models don't have. It is a powerful suction and mop floors with ease. It is equipped with advanced features, including an auto-extending mop heads and self-detangling brush rollers. The X40 Ultra also offers automatic self-cleaning of its base station and dust collection filter. The mop pads will be automatically drained and cleaned with hot water. After every cleaning session, the water tank will be emptied automatically.

It has some advanced options to customize the cleaning schedule, for example, selecting a time to start and finish each cycle, or deciding if it should vacuum carpets prior to mopping. It can also be instructed to re-clean areas which are particularly dirty and then increase the suction power around litter boxes for cats and pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra can be programmed to perform specific tasks on demand like cleaning the kitchen sink or bathroom toilet. It can be programmed to automatically lift the front side of the brush when it detects wet areas, and clean up debris around corners and baseboards.

The X40 Ultra has a simple intuitive application that comes with various features. It is easy to use and set up. It is quieter than many corded vacuums. The only sounds are occasional low hums from its motor, and brief moments of sucking when cleaning. Its navigation system is awe-inspiring and utilizes an image camera, 3D structured light and multiple lasers to detect and avoid obstacles. this makes the X40 Ultra achieve one of the highest scores for obstacles in our tests.

5. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro has been created to be a powerful vacuum and mop combo that is also user-friendly. The gunmetal base station fills up its own tank of clean water, then empty the dust bin into a smaller bin and washes and drys its own mop pads in between cleaning sessions. It is equipped with advanced features that allow it to switch between carpets and hard surfaces, and remove pet hair from carpets and clean thresholds for rooms that are raised.

The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping capabilities, due to the internal dToF system. It is able to maintain a low-profile while still providing excellent object detection. It can drive close to walls and avoid steps without falling. It also raises the mop when driving on short-pile carpets. It struggled a bit when it came across carpets with longer piles and also some long, thick piles of dried-on debris.

Like most robots, the S1 Pro comes ready to come out of the box, and requires only a quick initial mapping run to get it used to your home. The map will then be displayed in the app and you can add or merge rooms as you need to. You can set virtual boundaries, as well as no-go or no-mop zones if there's something you don't want the robot to be able to touch.

The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up messes from hard floors due to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to mop and vacuum is a great option for homes with floors of both types however, its reliance on a Eufy-branded cleaning solution (which is included in the box) could make it less flexible than some other robots that let you make your own cleaning solutions.
